Senior Structural Engineer

Oh Edmonton, I do love you.

As far as Structural Engineering opportunities go though, you guys & girls are left a little thin on the ground aren't you?

When I compare the Edmonton market with the London market for example, there's no comparison.

In London you have 25+ firms who are all top draw, allowing people to move on, experience new work places, meet new people & gain an understanding of what type of company works best for them.

In Edmonton? Well, you literally have a handful of options so from a career perspective, your options to learn, develop & progress in certain ways are somewhat limited, often dependant on factors out of your control too.

I might be able to help you though as hand on heart, if you're a Structural Engineer with 5-8 years' experience (Project Manager/Senior Engineer) in Edmonton & you have a passion for good architecture and wish to be involved in desgning whacky buildings on a regular basis, you can't beat this opportunity within the Edmonton market - definitely not now, maybe not ever.

The best thing about this firms Edmonton office is the fact it's small (growing, but small) meaning that you'll be well exposed, won't have to beg for any more responsibility & in all honesty, you have a clear run at making yourself stand out & becoming a key-player within the whole company. As a starting point, you'd join as the number 2 in the Edmonton office, within one of the most respected Structural Engineering firms on the planet.

If this sounds like it could be worth hearing about, get in touch.
