Structural Project Engineer

A lot of Junior/Mid-Level Structural Engineers that I speak with nowadays are looking for an opportuntiy to work within a firm who truly work towards building sustainabile buildings, who are incorporating computational design & who work on extremely archicecturally driven projects, with great architects. 

The thing is, whilst many consultancies use sustainability as a buzz term with no real evidence of making a truly conscious effort when designing & others will say 'yeah, we do a little bit of computational design' - the reality is, consultancies who really excel in these two departments especially, are hard to find. 

Not today - one of my long term clients (6.5 years' they've put up with me!) are looking to add a smart, forward-thinking, curious minded & articulate Structural Engineer of 2-4 years' experience to their mainstream structural design team following a sustained increase in workload, resuting in the need for hires at present, but not too many. They like to grow sustinably, afer all. 

The structural team currently sits at around 25 staff, alongside other specialist teams internally & whilst a relatively small team, this consultancy boast one of the most prestigious reputations in London, working on anything from hybrid towers in major cities around the globe (actually, they won quite a significant sustinability award for one recently) to high-profile refurbishments of theatres & the like. 

Oh, they also have an internal Research & Developement team which is something else Engineers at a Junior-Mid Level tend to find appealing.

If you're looking to take your next career step, at this stage of your career as a 2-4 year old Structural Engineer, you'll be hard pushed to find better home for this next stage of your development - I mean that, too.
