The net's cast fairly wide for this one, open to both Senior Structural Engineers ready to step into an Associate role, as well as those at Associate grade already, but who are looking for a track to Associate Director.
We’re looking for someone with a very particular set of skills & in particular, my client's looking for a computational/parametric wizard - someone who's a bit of a hot shot when it comes to using software such as grasshopper & rhinoceros, putting them in a position to lead on this front.
You’ll also have a track record of working on architecturally challenging projects with a high sense of complexity, as well as the experience or capabilities to manage others, lead projects & build/maintain client relationships.
This is a strategic move & offers a great opportunity for somebody to have a huge influence within the team, holding a niche role from day 1 & therefore having a lot of opportunity and a lot of say - something you'll no doubt be looking for at this stage of your career, or maybe looking to gain more of.
As for the consultancy themselves, it's one of London's high flying small/medium sized consultancies & one I've worked with for the best part of 7 years, placing 20+ great people in the process, the vast majority of whom are still there, providing real evidence of a really solid firm & one which people enjoy being a part of.
Projects range from highrise towers, to the refurbishment of high-profle theatres, to bespoke residential & everything inbetween, with projects scattered across the UK & around the globe, and these guys also boast some very impressive awards within the Structural Engineering community - especially on the sustainability front.
