Senior Structural Engineer

Opportunities like this one don't come around often.

In fact, I doubt there's been an opportunity available within the Seattle of this magnitude for over a decade. 

& no, I'm not exagerating. 

I'm representing one of my favourite clients here & they've become my favourite because;

1) they may it really easy to fill jobs given their reputation (I've recruited 30+ people for this firm in the past 2 years)

We're looking for a Structural Engineer of between 6-9 years' experience (You know, experienced but with things to achieve still/a point to prove) who'd feel well suited to taking on a role with a focus on technical support.

Essentially, whilst being based in Seattle, your primary job would be to provide technical support within the Seattle office, as well as provide support & mentoring to those within the New York office. Oh & maybe those learning US code in the Canadian offices too. You'd also have the license to vocalise & implement your ideas around improving systems, whether that be coding or whatever else you think could help improve how things flow.

Don't worry, we know you enjoy your technical work so you'll still be heavily involved with project management & being hands on within projects too. If you feel up to it & feel like you could add this string to your bow, leadership will also mentor you on how to develop new business.

Why's this such a great opportunity?

Well, the initial opportunity & responsibilities are interesting but your progression route doesn't really have a lid on it here. The US offices in particular are within a healthy growth stage so whereby you'd enter as the US technical lead, you'd also be considered to be the number 2 within the Seattle office. As the offices in Seattle & New York continue to grow, this could only be a positive and add more scope to your potential.
